Pain in the wrists - stroke them

Stroking the wrists and arms many times a day improves the blood and lymph circulation and relieves pain, inflammation, and swelling.

Grab a finger between the thumb and the forefinger of the other hand and stroke it lightly from the tip to the base. Repeat eight times. Go to the next finger until you have done all the fingers. Then stroke the back of the hand from the fingertips to the forearm. Next stroke the arm from fingertips to the shoulder. Repeat eight times.

Then press the following acupressure points:

1. On the back of the hand in the middle of the wrist crease you will find a depression between the wrist bones. Place the forefinger in the depression. Place your thumb in the middle of the wrist crease on the opposite side of the hand. Press on both points firmly toward each other.

2. Place your thumb on the outer side of your hand, at the base of the thumb. Place your forefinger on the opposite side of the wrist joint. Press the two points firmly toward each other.

Strain, wear, tear, accidents and arthritis can cause the inflammation of the wrist joint. When the wrist is inflamed, it starts swelling, which in turn pinches the nervs. This causes the wrist to start to ache.
