Prevent Migraine

Migraine is not your usual headache. It starts when a stimulus triggers a reaction in which the blood vessels in the head enlarge. The ache is often one-sided and may last for days. Nausea and visual disorders are typical symptoms. Migraine can be treated with acupressure, but it should be done preventively, between the episodes, not when the headache has already started.
Here is what to do:

Rub your head around the ears. Start at the frontal hairline and continue all the way to the bottom of the skull. Make small, circular motions with the palms of both hands.  Repeat three times.

Next, slowly massage along the base of your skull with both thumbs. Then rub with the fingertips of both hands at the hearline between the ears and the temples.

Use  your forefingers to gently press on your temples.

Press on the depression between the fourth and the little toe. Follow with your finger upward along the depression untill you cross a tendon. Right next to the tendon you find a tender point. Press on that point.
